Snowy London Town

Just a quick post to say what a gloriously Christmassy scene I waded through last night on my way home from work on London's South Bank. After getting across Millennium Bridge thru a blizzard, I stood and waited for my bus home in the shadow of St Paul's Cathedral, watching the snow fall down around the huge Christmas tree covered in sparkling lights outside. A gorgeous scene (although freezing cold). I sooo wish I'd had my camera with me, or at least knew how to work the camera on my mobile!! And almost worth the two hour journey home as my double-decker bus slipped and slid its way up the hill to Islington...

And a perfect time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2010! Let's hope we get lots of new Modern Heat authors published... And everyone buys tons of my books (hint-hint)

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Pop on over to the Pink Heart Society where I'm doing my monthly Must Watch Friday slot. Today, in honour of the Christmas season I'm waxing lyrical on a movie that has always meant Christmas to me. The Wizard of Oz... And all the wonderful things it does.

In other news, have finally got fingers back to keyboard and written the first chapter of my next WIP. Set on a wind-battered, rain-soaked Cornish beach at the tail end of the summer season.... My heroine's called Maddy and she's a lifeguard, my hero's called Ryan (or Ry) and he's out trying to surf on the choppy swell when... Well, that would be telling wouldn't it.

Merry Christmas in Brazil!!

Just discovered three of my books for sale in Brazil... What a hoot! Discovering foreign editions is one of the big perks of this job. My favourite is the title for The Tycoon's Very Personal Assistant which seems to be Dream Refuge...

Make of that what you will, or if you know Portuguese, maybe you could give me a better translation. Love the new cover though with Zack and Kate getting down to it on the beach! Didn't happen in the book, but who cares, they look seriously hot and it's given me some inspiration for the opening scene of my latest wip.
